By supporting the recent Supreme Court decision favoring first ammendment rights for corporations, they ensure that no campaign finance reform gets done. That's critical for balancing the budget by eliminating corporate welfare, bailouts and a bloated military.
I don't trust TP politicians any more than I trust any other politicians. To me, they're just neo-con/Republican hybrids (are there any Democrat TPs). I don't trust that. We'll see how in favor of term limits they are in about six or eight years.

As far as I have read, some pols like Jim Demint who's linked to the TP in most cases, has pushed an amendment that would limit senators to 2 years terms, and congressman to 3.
I guess I'd have to ask when the TP sanctioned the SCOTUS decision first, and then ask how that decisions even matters with respect to having a balanced budget?
