Bush: US should have bombed Auschwitz
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080111/...rael_holocaust
Quote:
"I was most impressed that people in the face of horror and evil would not forsake their God. In the face of unspeakable crimes against humanity, brave souls — young and old — stood strong for what they believe," Bush said.
"I wish as many people as possible would come to this place. It is a sobering reminder that evil exists, and a call that when evil exists we must resist it," he said.
|
But what about the thousands of innocent Iraqi women and children who died under George Bush's hand?
What is the difference between Auschwitz and Baghdad??

Re: Bush: US should have bombed Auschwitz
Imagine if the Republlicans of the 1940s walked around the country saying that FDR was a lying about the holocaust, and that it was a waste of American lives to stop this, and we should have never gone to war..........
Everyone that I know that has visited Auschwitz has been brought to tears just looking at the autrocitys committed there. And it is kept open to the public to remind them to "never forget"
First off, Bush never said anything like you title (what a suprise, your lying, again). But, I do appreciate your vbeiled Bush-Nazi attempt.

Re: Bush: US should have bombed Auschwitz
Amazing how the lefties don't assign any blame for the death of Iraqi civilians on the terrorist who are setting off the bombs.
So Mikey are you disappointed and the sharp decline in American deaths in Iraq that are cutting down your opportunities to post about dead American soldiers?

They never mention what Saddam was doing either, Saddam had his own private "Butcher Shop" where he and his Demented Sons used to Rape Little Kids and Carve Up Human Beings With Steak Knives While He Forced Their Families To Watch, a true Bush Hating Democrat will never ever mention this, never.

Did you bother to read the article?
Bush was visibly moved as he toured the site, said Yad Vashem's chairman, Avner Shalev. "We should have bombed it" Bush said, according to Shalev.

We went to war with Germany because they had a mutual defense treaty with Japan, who had attacked the US on our territory. Had Japan not attacked, we might have stayed out of WWII and the fourth Reich might have been in existence today, although the Russians might have had something to say about it

Why did we go to war against Iraq? Why are Americans dying in Iraq? Your answer please.
|
We got into WWII because of Pearl Harbor. There were many who thought that it was inevitable that we would enter the war, but it was Pearl Harbor that did it. Could you please get a grasp on history!

In either case, the popint being made is that FTW opened this up with his comment about the holacaust and that really had nothng to do withus entering WWII. Do you agree?
|
Yes the holocaust had nothing to do with the US entering the war. Roosevelt's performance ignoring the pleas of the Jewish World Congress were disgraceful.
