All one has to do to look back at this Bush's first term when BEFORE the election his father told him to send Dick Cheney out to find a VP candidate, and Cheney came back saying he found the best one...Himself. (All set up by Daddy Bush)
Then daddy had all the cronies move into the White House, Rove, Perle, Wolfowitz, Cheney,. Rumsfeld, Armitage, and lots more...for the purpose of controlling their little Manchurian Candidate.
This has been my theory from the beginning, and I know that history will prove me correct.

just not buying this, NEM... i think elder Bush has done his damage and is content to fade off into the sunset for his golden years...
everything starts and stops with Dick Cheney and his henchmen, regarding domestic and foreign policy... it's rather transparent to me... at this point, Tricky Dick certainly isn't answering to some silent benefactor like Daddy Bush...
that's not to admonish Daddy Bush for his crimes, especially his decades-long role in CIA ops and drug importation/money laundering via the Agency...
Boy King may call his dad for advice every now and again, but it's Cheney who pulls his strings, i have little doubt... |
