Of course not. It's silly. The government bears no responsibility to the individual people - if they did there's dozens of things we could sue the government for at all times.

nor does it bat an eye when it enables the transfer of wealth from the middle 80% to the elite 3%... and don't pretend it's not...

That's just silly. As we've drifted off topic did you know that the percentage of the income tax that the top 1% pays has gone up under Bush ? Yes, their wealth has risen too but the top 1% now pays a whopping 39% of the total income tax.

Top 1% paid 37.42% in 2000, Clinton's last year. It went down initially with Bush but by 2005 was over 39% and my previous link shows it stayed there.
