Gun maker sells assault rifle component engraved with ‘You Lie’ congressman’s quote | Raw Story

A guns retailer outside of Colombia, South Carolina has begun selling a lower receiver for the AR-15 semi-automatic assault rifle, a firearm commonly used by the US military, engraved with Wilson's infamous words.

“Only 999 of these will be produced, get yours before they are gone!” the Palmetto State Armory declared.

even without the recent Tucson incident, this has got to be one of the worst ideas ever. This is about as close as I've ever seen someone threaten the president and get away with it. The image of wilson holding the rifle is sick, plus he autographed the picture.

I imagine it has something to do with surveying symbols....or even better....

It actually says "Youlie", Rep. Joe Wilson is BIG TIME into Christmas and is a self declared "Youlie". The space between the letters U and L are a mistake. YOULIE - Defined by Websters as a Christmas fanatic. ie "Clark Griswald showed how much of a Youlie he was by putting the most christmas lights on his house"

The US military doesn't use semi-auto AR-15s. Accuracy counts.
