Default More Money to Pakistan - Exciting

Reading this story today makes me sick ... throwing money at a problem that is not going to change. Pakistan will not totally do anything to fight terrorism because they need those people (they think they do) to keep India at bay. But we're going to send them more money that we do not have.

The Associated Press: Report: US to increase help for Pakistan

Quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama's administration is planning to send more help to Pakistan amid complaints from government officials there that the United States doesn't understand their security priorities or offer enough help, The Washington Post reports.

According to the plan, decided on in last month's White House Afghanistan war review, the U.S. will offer more military, intelligence and economic support to Pakistan, the newspaper reported online late Friday. The Obama administration also plans to intensify efforts to forge a regional peace despite frustration that Pakistani officials aren't doing enough to fight terrorist groups in the country's vast tribal areas, it said.

It's starting to look and sound like South Africa throwing money at Rhodesia.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

My son-in-law grew up in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). His brother and sister still live there. Parents lost their life savings and had to leave. Barely got out before they didn't even have enough to buy plane tickets.

Knew a guy (now deceased) who was head of African operations for a huge American company based in Rhodesia. He left when the optimism of Mugabe's ascendance became a nightmare and destroyed Zimbabwe, which before then, was considered the most beautiful country in Africa.

Mugabe should be in prison or executed for what he has done to his people.

To Pakistan: Don't blame you one bit for taking our free money. Get it while you can because it won't (shouldn't) be long before we throw you to India and leave you to the fate you have created for yourself. Without our support, you would be living in some neolithic squalor under Sharia Law. India's patience will wear out soon.

The world has confirmed that the ISI financed 9/11, and America did nothing in response. It never tried to demand the apprehension of the very Pakistani man IN GOVERNMENT who paid the money TO the attackers. Our leaders didn't even mention this money man in the Kean Commission's 9/11 Report. Odd. Especially, even considering said ISI chief was IN the U.S. during the attacks, conveniently meeting with NSA officials and U.S. senators.

So, after nine years of nothing, why would America change it's conciliatory ways towards Pakistan now? ... Of COURSE they're on the payroll. You think Wikileaks has secrets? Wow.

As long as their demands are relatively reasonable, Pakistan gets whatever it wants, and will continue to do so.

We will continue to "make FULL distinction between these terrist killers, and those who harbor them."
