WASHINGTON — House Republicans' reading of the Constitution was interrupted Thursday by a woman who shouted "except Obama, except Obama" to the venerable document's words on a U.S. citizen's eligibility to be president.
Just as Rep. Frank Pallone, D-N.J., was reading "no person, except a natural-born citizen, or a citizen of the United States" is eligible for the presidency, a woman in the visitor's gallery yelled out that it did not apply to President Barack Obama.

But anybody have a thread about the two GOP congressmen who decided to skip the oath of office, go to a party, watch it on TV, and hold up their right hands to the television set -- then claim they were "sworn in"?
Anybody notice that they took a vote to correct the mess the not-yet-congressmen made with this stunt, when they voted even though they weren't sworn in yet?
Anybody notice the 4, count 'em, 4 minutes of consideration the Republicans decided to allot for discussion of the measure?
Anybody notice that these two not-yet-Congressmen were chairing committees and doing all manner of pretend congressional work while they weren't congressmen yet?
And this from the Party who wanted to kick off the session by reading the Constitution cover-to-cover?
