Actually in reading the newspaper article the Marine, fresh from Afghanistan, was being accosted by excessive numbers of youths. Around 100. His wife was knocked out by a bare-chested hoodlum. But the moral of the story? A stranger with a legal concealed handgun fended off the crowd until the police came. Who, in turn, were assaulted by America's future.

Did he have a Marine Uniform on, and if he did not did he identify himself as a marine??. if the answer is neither then how did they know he was a marine?? Is there a special statute for assault on a Marine?? Was not aware of that law..

Are the comments about a Marine supposed to enrage someone???

There was no indication from the article that he was accosted by this crowd...

Perhaps, but why would you try to publicize that this dude was a marine.. was he wearing a uniform??, did he announce his status??..

The reality is that he was acting as a civilian at the time.. you are attempting to elicit some heartfelt response, because he was a marine.. not as a citizen who was assaulted.

Perhaps you spend too much time reading blogs that exaggerate this stuff for some type of political agenda.. you have already extrapolated it into something about schools and have pointed out that despite your claim that he was accosted, this short article does not indicate it.

For someone who was given a free education in one of the finest institutions in the country.. you did not learn how to discern between reality, half truths and hysteria.. you want to make this post into sometype of attack on a battle hardened brave marine who served this country admirably in Afghanistan by roaming bands of youths who are out of control due to flaws in the educational system and because of this our country is on a train ride to doom..

It is what it is, a citizen was attacked by a group of youths who were out of control at a really crappy movie..
