Iraq was funding and support Islamic terrorist across the ME. For example Abu Nidal had lived there for years, he offered a $25,000 bounty fto the families of suicide bombers. There were the indications that the IIS was involved in WTC bombing I.

There is also the fact that Al Queda operative Zaquari had a training camp in Iraq and the training facility with the airplane shell for training hi jackers.

I know of no operational involvement in WTC bombing II. Which doesn't matter. Saddam made an agreement with the US at the end of Gulf War I to save his skin (big mistake by Bush I IMO), he broke the agreements and suffered the consequences, case closed.

the fact that Nidal may have lived in Iraq hardly implicated that nation as "supporting" nor "funding" terrorists...
