Michael Rogers, the activist who's correctly outed a number of in the closet gay conservative politicians, is meeting with a lawyer today about releasing some ... titillating information.

First, some info on Michael Rogers:

His information? Apparently yet another Republican politician who has routinely voted and lobbied against gay rights, Senator Lindsey Graham, may in fact be a self-hating homosexual. While it's certainly not a surprise to most, this time Rogers has some proof in the form of photos of a man who spent the night at Graham's house. Will it be enough to finally out Graham? I'm not sure, but Rogers has a pretty strong track record.

I have always gotten the impression he might be gay ... not that it matters but it's obvious. If a politician is gay like so what ... probably less than 1% of America really cares ... but the ones who cover it up with gay hate are the most supreme of azzholes.

I disagree with him on almost all of those, but does his being gay change anything? I mean, if anything it indicates that he is willing to live with the restrictions he is promoting, no?

He said he's not gay. Sexual preference shouldn't have anything to do with public office, but people who vote for you tend to prefer that you're being honest with them. And, of course, there's the whole Uncle Tom angle, and the political opportunism angle, and the hypocrite angle, and the exploitation angle....

I'd say that recent history teaches us that they can't tell the difference.

The Log Cabin Republicans will be happy about this one, the GOTP will be less so.. prepare for the onslaught of the extreme religious nutz.. either that or a massive effort to discredit Rogers...
