Default Now the moonbats want to tax soda

Make no mistake about it... these moonbats (who love telling us how much they love freedom) want to control you and your life, what you can eat, what you can say, and what you can do.

Not one single person has explained to me what right they have telling me I can or can't eat transfats, but I was on an island with that argument. All I did was warn people that "sooner or later they will come after something you enjoy"...

Well now it's started with the moonbats trying to tax soda. And now issue the same warning: Make no mistake, this is just another volley in the desire to control how you live. First it gets taxed, then when people get used to that it starts getting illegalized.

Mayor Gavin Newsom wants large grocery stores to help fight obesity by paying fees on sodas and other beverages they sell in San Francisco.

Newsom has asked his staff to prepare a law that would charge retail chains for stocking Coke, Pepsi and other drinks sweetened with high fructose corn syrup.

Mayoral spokesman Nathan Ballard says the size of the fee and how it would be assessed still have to be worked out.

He says there's a direct link between sweet beverages and obesity, which puts added pressure on San Francisco's health care system.

Pant Suit Hillary said it all with these four words "It Takes A Village".

Watch closely when you see that Grinning Gang Of Scum Bags that stand behind Auntie Skank Pelosi when she is slobbering and showing you her false teeth, those bastards that are always Screaming about Civil Liberty and the Constitution, they want complete control of your life, they want to tell you when to sh!t, what to eat and who you should bring home to dinner, we are now facing the biggest threat to our way of life and our culture that America has ever seen and THE NEW DEMOCRAT, the far left progressive Hollywood democrat is at the forefront of this attack on America.

Stalin & Hitler would have loved these scumsucking Communist vermin that we call "Democrats"
(the new ones, the old ones have vanished)

Look what the've done to the Quarter Pounder & The Whopper.

I LOVE McDONALDS, I LOVE MY WOOD STOVE, I LOVE MY SUV, I LOVE MY ROOT BEER, I USE A WHOLE ROLL OF TOILET PAPER WHEN I SH!T, I AM AN AMERICAN, I AM FREE, MY CONSTITUTION SAYS SO, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT, F-CK YOU SOCIALIST COMMUNIST BASTARDS.

The better informed know there are all sorts of taxes in this country, some better than others.

That said, I'm not against taxing soda provided the revenue raised goes directly towards addressing problems of obesity (perhaps by education), and not into the general fund. A friend of mine (from rural Georgia, I might add) recently died of a lung disease made worse by obesity. He was 50 years old.

Here's some advice for fat people, drink diet coke. I do. There is no need to punish the country, and individual freedoms, because some irresponsible people can't control their own weight. This law, if enacted, would be an infringement upon individual rights.

Good.

They should also have/raise taxes on cigarettes, beer, hamburgers, candy, pies, donuts, popcorn, chips, tortillas, pizzas, Mexican food, McDonald's food, ...for starters.

Then the federal income tax rates could be lowered.

Isn't this what the conservatives want? Lower taxes and people to be responsible for their actions?

The groceries will simply pass the costs on to the customer. So QuiCon can buy as much soda as he'd like, just as much as he's willing to pay.

San Francisco's leading the way again...

How many taxes really go for the use intended. Like all the cigarette lawsuit $$$ supposed to be used to educate ... yeah right. New taxes initially go in the general fund only to be spent on something that's running a deficit... it is what it is.

Unhealthy people, smokers, fat, whatever, actually cost the health care system less over their lifetime because almost all of them are dead before the often very costly last few years of life. A smoker "costs" more per year of life but "costs" less over a lifetime because that lifetime is often 63 years and not 85 years.

Fat people should stay out of McDonalds, I'm a skinny free American I should have the right to go into McDonalds if I so choose.

If I get fat, I'll stop going into McDonalds, it's that simple.

From observing Pant Suit Hillarys A$s I would suggest she stay out of McDonalds but don't tell the rest of us we have to.
