But now it's been proven by science! Fox new viewers are significantly more misinformed than viewers of other news outlets. Note that this does not mean less informed, but instead means factually misinformed. As in wrong. I'll leave it to Harry Boy to sort out any possible correlation / causation problem and attendant nuances, and add his comments on the supposed equivalence between Fox and MSNBC (oops).

You do realize that the study was done by Program on International Policy Attitudes (PIPA), right?

That's the same Pipa that is receives sponsorship from the Tides Foundation (3rd one down). Tides is an ultra liberal group that who mission is to promote progressive social change and they only support like-minded entities.

So you started a thread to tell us all that a left-leaning and sponsored polling group did a "study" and found that a right-leaning news agency is BAAAAAAAD.

Ummmmm, thanks I guess.

So this is misinformed?????

  • >>>>91 percent believe the stimulus legislation lost jobs
  • 72 percent believe the health reform law will increase the deficit<<<<
We were told that if the stimulus legislation passed in Feb 2009, unemployment (at 8.1% then) would not go above 8% and it has been at 9.5% for a while and for the foreseeable future. Since the stimulus was passed, over two million jobs were lost.
Did Stimulus Create Any Jobs? - Forbes.com
As for the health care, when you calculate the costs over the next 10 years but delay the program for 4 years ( so as to have ten years of revenues and only six years of costs to make it revenue neutral) you can call it revenue neutral. In the real world, people understand that the net result will be increased deficits. And the ONLY way they made that bill deficit neutral was to include the government takeover of the student loan industry which produced a $60 billion dollar savings....

As a matter of fact, it is!

Edit: GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER! (Fox News viewer detected!)
