Ha ha ha, it's not even a slur, just an observation. If you're a self hating gay that's cool. But if so, you should really just come out of the closet - you can live a happier, less hateful life. But you can't serve openly in the military, which kind of sucks.

Well, duh, that's the point I'm making. You're using implied homosexuality and homophobic remarks as a slur and, by your own admission, as a character flaw. Now whom do you think comments like those really hurt? If you think they bother me, think again. But I'll bet any member in here who happens to be gay doesn't like seeing comments such as those.
Let the record show that I haven't thrown out one single anti-gay slur in this thread, nor have I used implied homosexuality as a means to slur others. But you people are sure showing your true feelings on the matter.
Clearly you can't read. Let me try and spell this out for you again. It's being used to explain your character flaw. Homophobia is a character flaw, homosexuality is not. Thus, I've ascribed your homophobia as a deep-seated psychological response to your own internal distress about who you really are. To you homosexuality probably seems like a character flaw, but my observing such is not pejorative in the least.

You're welcome.
And please let me explain it all again to you since clearly your reading comprehension is on par with a 4 year old: An awful lot of people in this thread who claim to support homosexuals are using an awful lot of hateful words to describe homosexuals, they're using implied (or direct) accusations of homosexuality as a slur, and they're doing an awful lot of stereotyping to describe homosexual behavior.
The ultimate irony is they can't see how hurtful and hateful their words are toward the very people they claim to support.

Guys, you're supposed to support gay people so stop using derogatory terms against wolfie, because they're actually hateful and hurting him. Sorry wolfie. Maybe one day you will see equal rights for gay people and that will make up for it. One day.

I would think that anyone who actually supported gay people wouldn't need to be told not to use homosexual slurs and hateful comments which stereotype homosexuals. Which is why I enjoy seeing so many in here exposing their own hypocrisy and hatefulness.
All I've ever said is that I don't think it's a good idea to have homosexuals serving openly. Meanwhile, other people in here are using terms like "fags, tapping his feet, butthurt, wide stance, self-hating." (Side note to Chico: Please tell me if using those terms is an example of bigotry.)
EDIT: I would also like a moderator ruling to see if using those terms is allowed in this forum. If they are, I may join the ranks of Reflexblue, Apple Strudel and JackBauer and start using them myself.

Well I have some great news for you: That day is already here! Gay people already have equal rights. Last time I checked, homosexuals still had freedom of speech and freedom of religion and were still protected under the laws of the land. But what you need to realize is that serving in the military is not a "right". And redefining marriage is not a "right."

Last I checked gay people can't do certain things that straight people can, by law. That is the very opposite of equal rights, duders. But it's OK, we're fighting for you, even if you're not fighting for yourself.

Your problem is that your simpleton mind is confusing "rights" with "laws". The laws say you have to be of a certain age and free from any serious illness to join the military. Does that mean that people who are 55 years old or have cancer don't have equal rights?

Erm, the point was that those laws subvert rights, brosef. As in the right to equal protection. This is the best thread. You are the best poster. I hope you never get banned from this site because you provide so much entertainment.
