We, as in "we the people" should want regulation in order to provide the framework in which capitalism can survive and flourish. Keeping in mind that the only reason we allow corporations it exist is due to the benefits they provide society.
Once they stop benefitting society, we have no use for them.

The list of corporate charters which no longer serve the People and need to be revoked is long. Unfortunately, thanks to the recent USSC decision affording corporations equal status to the People, that will never happen. They are now in complete control and are using their agents in government to further cement their position by removing barriers to their destructive goals.
There are more than enough people willing to go along with those efforts and not nearly enough to oppose them. It's like a runaway train.
