Default Happy? Election Day

The mid terms are here, get out and vote. Although I would hope everyone here who seems to have such opinions already planned to anyway.

And it is a happy thing so long as we still have that one precious right to select our government.

Oh, I forgot to mention, RINO's and democrats vote Wednesday, so you all can sleep in tomorrow and rest up for the big day.

I'm voting for 1 candidate in Rhode Island ... Chafee.

All the others I am voting against to ensure they get a lobbying job.

Politicians don't disappear ... they get recycled and they still get paid.

1 vote does not matter matter when all NYC will vote for the candidate I would have gone against.

I am a "poll watcher" for David Cicilline.. looking forward to a long shift.

I do agree, aside from Cicilline, in RI there are not a lot of really good choices.. Chaffee is ok, Healey is OK.. but after that it is all folks who are part of the political machine.. all of whom claiming that they are not career politicians, but really are.. all of who claim that they are outsiders, but in reality are not.

Lots of noise, but little substance or content.

Choice of all registered voters: D
Choice of likely voters: R

Get off yer butts, enthusiasm gappers!

Hopefully if people can go a few hundred miles to demand reasonableness, they can get out of bed early & vote. We'll see tonight.

Another depressing election day. At least we get to vote. Too bad it's a choice of one side of the same coin or the other.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

Its done. I feel good that I voted. Not crazy bout most of the local candidates. But I am excited to see what happens nationally for the first time in a while.

Off to bed now, then I gotta rake up some leaves and settle in for a night of returns watching.
