A supporter for U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul is apologizing for an incident in which video shows him stomping on a liberal activist's head.

Tim Profitt is a volunteer with the Paul campaign. He tells the Associated Press that the camera angle made the scuffle look worse than it was. Profitt also criticized police for not stepping in, and he says other supporters warned authorities about the activist.

The Rand Paul campaign has cut ties with Profitt, removing him as Bourbon County campaign coordinator and banning him from campaign events.

I think one issue that we don't discuss is that most on the left never want to see a political group emerge that is predominently caucasion. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that since they didn't organize for that reason or make that their goal. It just so happens that independents & conservatives are predominently white.

It just seems to me that the left and especially the far-left only want to see "Rainbow/Kumbaya" political groups.

It was obvious that the man in the video was looking for trouble. For some strange reason, he seemed angry even before he attempted to engage these demonstrators in conversation. If we think about it rationally, there is never a reason to be that angry about someone else's opinion. When you get right down to it, there is nothing any of us can do about somene else's opinion...except to swallow hard and except it fully.

Personally, I think it's sad that some people will support a POTUS no matter what. That goes for those who supported George Bush and the continuing trend by those who voted for Obama as well.

Even more disturbing are African-Americans who see any attack upon Obama's policies as wrong because he is "Their guy". This is mind-boggling to say the least and I doubt anyone can explain it using basic common sense and rational thought.

No one should unilatterally support a POTUS based upon anything other than their policies and their actions. Anyone care to debate this point?
