Harry, I stopped caring about Roxbury a long time ago. People choose to live that way even though some here will spout the "poverty-cycle" rant. There are many, many areas of poverty all over this country, but only in certain areas will one find gangs, drive-by's, etc.

The sad part is if some responsible sincere people in the system and within the Police Dept in any way start to try and clean Roxbury up and clamp down on Gang Activity the very people who are afraid to go out at night, the very people who are accidently getting shot and killed and of course The Crazy Liberals will immediatelly start with their "Racism Bull*****"

The Police are damned if they do and damned if they don't, many of Roxbury's residents want a higher Police Presence then when the Police increase their Presence those same residents start their "Racism Crap"

How to stop Gang Violence:

Step 1. Stop Prohibition on all recreational drugs.

Step 2. Let corporations privatize and control quality under federal regulation.

Step 3. Tax said drugs at all points of production and sale.

Step 4. Watch gangs evaporate after their real reason to exist is ripped out from under them.

Instead we are about to outlaw hamburgers and fries, and...BACON!
