Mel Gibson fired from Hangover2, but Tyson allowed in the original.
I believe Mel Gibson is Nuts and I am not defending any of his actions.
Then again..... As far as I know, he never raped anyone.
Mike Tyson had a role in the original Hangover and nobody had a problem.
Now the case and crew got Mel Gibson fired because they did not want
to act next to him.
News came just yesterday that Mel Gibson was to start his return to the big screen in a cameo role in The Hangover 2. It sounded an appropriate return. Then something happened. The cast and crew apparently complained about his appearance in the film and refused to act next to him, and he was taken out of the film and replaced with Liam Neeson.
What a bizarre action. In a film where the cast and crew are more than happy appearing next to a convicted rapist, they won't stand next to Mel Gibson.
They had no problem with Tyson, but they refused to work with Gibson?

Re: Mel Gibson fired from Hangover2, but Tyson allowed in the original.
Certainly don't know, but part of it could be timing. Tysons rape conviction was almost 20 years ago. When you mentioned it, I had to think for a while about how that all played out before remembering that he was convicted and served time. There's been enough to his life and career that his conviction isn't the first thing I think of re Tyson. Gibsons troubles, otoh, have been very recent and are the latest things he's done that come to mind (for me, anyway)
