Harry, that's a little misleading. The complainant isn't Muslim. he only said that his Muslim friends wouldn't visit him anymore because of the bacon smell. That said I wonder if it was that fact that motivated the planning bosses order to remove the extractor fan. I guess some people don't like the smell of bacon so that is plausible but political correctness has gone viral too.

The poiitical correctness involving The Muslim Religion is becoming absurd and disgusting.

Today's America sees nothing at all wrong with the Trashing of christianity such as floating a statue of Jesus Christ in a bottle of p!ss or banning Nativity Scenes at Xmas time or telling little children they are forbidden to wear a neckless with a Cross on it in school but this same screwy political correct America will go insane at people like Juan Williams or O'Reilly for even mentioning the word "Muslim"

Now things are so bad in Europe that if you fry bacon you have to worry about offending the Muslims because the bacon odor may annoy them, Jesus Christ what next, will we soon be lowering our heads and bowing if a Muslim walks by.

GOD DAMN GOD GOD DAMN JESUS (that's ok)

What's it like to go through life in such fear?

By the way, when and where have nativity scenes been banned? Surely you're not still pretending that a private homeowner has been told he couldn't put up a nativity scene -- because I'm quite sure that clearly would be unconstitutional.

I don't know about private display, but I do know there are cases every year
about private nativity scenes banned on public property

If you are going to ban religious symbols from public display, it should
be all religions. You either allow all religions or ban all religions. You do
not pick one religion over an other.

Two prominent legal cases battling policies that outlaw public display of the Christian Nativity while allowing symbols of other religions have reached a critical stage.

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41855

In New York City, arguments will be presented Monday in a federal lawsuit challenging the city's display of the Jewish Menorah during Hanukkah and the Islamic star and crescent during Ramadan in more than 1,200 public schools while barring Nativity scenes during Christmas.

In Florida, U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia Altonaga is expected to rule early next week on a request for a temporary restraining order that would require the town of Bay Harbor Islands to allow a Christian resident to display the Nativity alongside existing Jewish Menorahs.

That's exactly right re. public v. private -- a distinction harry doesn't seem to grasp.

I completely agree with you -- I don't think any municipality will be permitted to pick and choose, and that's how it should be. (Personally, though I'm no religious, I think they should permit them -- I think it lends to the atmosphere of a community.)

Still a couple months off.... please tell me you're not already decorating...

But with it, we're sure to have the chickenlittles crying about the "war on Christmas" because they're somehow offended by being wished "Happy Holidays"
