There should be outrage about this. While I never agreed with Williams nor Alan Colmes, at least they had the balls to have a real debate with conservatives rather than sit in their coffee shops with like-minded robots and feel superior. NPR should be defunded and forced to compete on the free market.

They have been.. surprise. Every year they get less and less..right now they get about 2% of their funding from the US government..

Probably can get along just fine with none...

With that being said, always liked Juan Williams and this action seems excessive.

Agreed. I always like him too. I listen to NPR sometimes on my way to work. I thought they were getting a lot better about news and less about opinion recently. Now this.

As mentioned yesterday they get between 1 & 3 % of their funding from the feds... as a long time contributor to their efforts, will have to rethink this action prior to putting pen to check..
