Do you see how fanatic our "enemy" gets with their icons? Do you think this guy wouldn't be on video every week the past 11 years, and carried around like a champion?
No, it's your story that has far more holes. 11 years of holes, actually.

In the vast time of 3,500-some-odd days that passed between our two storylines, we have absolutely no hard evidence of his existence. We're simply expected to believe that this former CIA asset managed to remain a fugitive of global justice for over 10 years, safe enough behind enemy lines, but without a litany of video performances taunting an ideology he and his flock love to hate.

Even though al Jazeera (when broadcasting the footage on its evening newscast) didn't disclose the source of the video, sources within the United States intelligence community have confirmed that the speaker, who appears behind a lectern, is indeed bin Laden. By mentioning 2004 U.S. presidential candidate John Kerry by name, the tape would seem to prove that bin Laden was still alive at least mid-way through 2004.
