Its kinda funny to see these 'reporters' who were blinded by patriotism to be all of the sudden aware of some shady $#!t. Then they start bouncing questions off of one another like they are the only people aware of this.

The further you look into this, the stranger it becomes. I could go on and on...but its nice to see that the over under for when moronic talking heads come around to the fact that the official story of 9-11 is bull$#!t is

FYI...except for the opinion shows, Fox is a very good news station. Have you ever watched Shepard Smith?

This is un-possible! Fox is part of the right wing cabal that pulled this off, isn't it?

But seriously, nothing in this segment is contrary to my understanding of events. The "official story" in question here is the report of the 9/11 Commission. John Ashcroft talked about the "wall" between intelligence and law enforcement when he testified. At that time, he identified Jamie Gorelick, who was on the commission, as the party responsible for the extreme restrictions put in place in that regard. Not surprising that the commission's report downplayed the extent to which that had an impact.

Quote:
My second point today goes to the heart of this commission's duty to uncover the facts. The single greatest structural cause for the September 11th problem was the wall that segregated or separated criminal investigators and intelligence agents. Government erected this wall, government buttressed this wall and before September 11th government was blinded by this wall.

In 1995, the Justice Department embraced flawed legal reasoning, imposing a series of restrictions on the FBI that went beyond what the law required.

ASHCROFT: The 1995 guidelines and the procedures developed around them imposed draconian barriers, barriers between the law enforcement and intelligence communities. The wall effectively excluded prosecutors from intelligence investigations. The wall left intelligence agents afraid to talk with criminal prosecutors or agents. In 1995, the Justice Department designed a system that was destined to fail.

In the days before September 11th, the wall specifically impeded the investigation of Zacarias Moussaoui, investigation of Khalid al Mihdhar and Nawaf al Hazmi.

After the FBI arrested Moussaoui, agents became suspicious of his interest in commercial aircraft and sought approval for a criminal search warrant to search his computer. The warrant was rejected because FBI officials feared breaching the wall.

When the CIA finally told the FBI that al Mihdhar and al Hazmi were in the country in late August, agents in New York searched for the suspects. But because of the wall, FBI headquarters refused to allow criminal investigators who knew the most about recent al Qaeda attacks to join the hunt for suspected terrorists.

At that time, a frustrated FBI investigator wrote headquarters, and I'm quoting: "Whatever has happened to this, some day somebody -- someone will die. And, wall or not, the public will not understand why we were not more effective in throwing every resource we had at certain problems. Let's hope the National Security Law Unit will stand behind their decision then, especially since the biggest threat to us, OBL, is getting the most protection."

FBI headquarters responded, and I quote: "We're all frustrated with this issue. These are the rules. NSLU does not make them up."

But somebody did make these rules. Somebody built this wall.

ASHCROFT: The basic architecture for the wall in the 1995 guidelines was contained in a classified memorandum entitled "Instructions for Separation of Certain Foreign Counterintelligence and Criminal Investigations."

The memorandum ordered FBI Director Louis Freeh and others, quote, "We believe that it is prudent to establish a set of instructions that will more clearly separate the counterintelligence investigation from the more limited, but continued criminal investigations.

"These procedures," the memo went on to say, "which go beyond what is legally required, will prevent any risk of creating an unwarranted appearance that FISA is being used to avoid procedural safeguards which would apply in a criminal investigation."

This memorandum laid the foundation for a wall separating the criminal and intelligence investigations, as a matter of fact, established the wall following the 1993 World Trade Center attack, which at the time was the largest international terrorism attack on American soil, the largest prior to September 11th.

Although you understand the debilitating impact of the wall, I cannot imagine that the commission knew about this memorandum. So I have had it declassified for you and the public to review.

Full disclosure compels me to inform you that the author of this memorandum is a member of the commission.

By 2000, the Justice Department was so addicted to the wall it actually opposed legislation to lower the wall. Finally, the USA Patriot Act tore down this wall between our intelligence and law enforcement personnel in 2001. And when the Patriot Act was challenged, the FISA court of review upheld the law, ruling that the 1995 guidelines were required by neither the Constitution nor the law.

Shep Smiff?

He is about the only one on that network that I can stomach, and yes...I watch it.

THis 9-11 conspiracy reporting comes from Fox and Friends...and opinion morning show...

They also just reported that the LAPD ordered a billion dollars worth of JePacks, the source they cited was the "Weekly World News". So....

http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/...ake-lapd-jet-p

Anchors at the Fox News national morning news show "Fox and Friends" reported Tuesday that the city of Los Angeles had ordered 10,000 jetpacks for its police and fire departments. The price tag: a whopping $100,000 per unit.

For those doing the math at home, the cash-strapped city of Los Angeles, which is regularly sending its police detectives home because it can't pay all their overtime, allegedly shelled out a billion dollars on space-age transportation that it has never used in an emergency situation, much less tested.

"We certainly haven't bought any jetpacks," said LAPD Chief Charlie Beck. "We haven't bought [squad] cars for two years."

My bottom line on all of this is the reality that there were very easy answers at the onset... they were just too easy.

This coupled with the reality that we spent more money on investigating Clinton's misconduct in the Oval Office, than we spent on investigating 9-11...

Speaking of Clinton,
The 9/11 thing, if the conspiracy thing is right (and it very well could be) CLINTON and his people had to be right in the middle of it in fact it had to all have been planned right on his watch, there is no way The Hated Bush could have done all that ***** in 8 months.

Hillary is capable of planning something like 9/11..........

"yup, thats right Harry"

I get in trouble on the 9/11 topic here.

However one comment is worth noting.

The official 9/11 report left out the reasons why 9/11 happened to begin with. This was the greatest injustice of all here. There is no excuse for what happened or why it happened. But we had an opportunity to move forward and we did not. We had an opportunity to change our policy in the Middle East and we did not. Until the day comes where we view all those countries equally we will continue to send our fine citizens to their death.

We need a President who is brave enough to say enough is enough. If we are going to preach equal rights here, if we are going to preach human rights then we need to preach that to all countries ... not look the other way when a certain small country continues to piss all over basic human rights.

OBL and the rest of the Arab world could care less about the Palestinian people. They use them as pawns.

Palestinians can become and do become citizens in Israel and the U.S., but not in Lebanon, Syria or the Gulf States.
