Well, did FOX News ever criticize George Bush for high gas prices. That was his promise when he campaigned. Remember, he was tight with the Saudis. Fair and Balanced.

That's not the issue now is it? Everything is about context. If you want to argue whether or not Pelosi made that promise then go right ahead, I'm not stopping you as I don't know if she ever did. If you actually read what I typed (seeing a patern hear people?), you'd have seen that I said this: "(assuming she did make that claim)". The bottom line is that if you post that picture without the corresponding story, it's easy to make accusations that suite your agenda. You know, the Fox News is eeeeeeeeevil bit. The bottom line is he's not blaming Pelosi for high gas prices, as he's saying she promised to lower them, and the opposite has happened. #1, I don't think Pelosi & the Dems are responsible for high prices, and #2, if, I STRESS IF, a person makes a promise, don't cry when people call you out on it.

Scout, I'm not arguing gas prices, and I'm not Fox News. I'd guess that they haven't. GW promised lots of things that he hasn't delivered on. All I'm doing here is pointing out how dumb it is for a person who doesn't even have cable, to post a picture about eeeeeevil FOX when he doesn't even know what the report was about.

They see the big print and that's all they remember.

So what FOX does, and I admit, they do it very well, is to take something that is true, like the one in this picture, and throw it up there in BIG LETTERS for their dittoheads to see, and it is all that they know, that since Pelosi became speaker gas prices have gone up 39%. They dont bother to look into the rest of the story which shows that she really had nothing to do with it.

And, of course, they never are told that gas prices have doubled, gone up 100% since Bush became president, or that a barrel of crude oil has gone up 300% since Bush became president.

All they see is the FOX deception, and that is all that is needed to keep them in line. Friggin deadbrained idiots.
You just described 99% of the media, and at the very least, 50% of it's following.

Yeah, you're right NEM. Only FOX plays with the news.

NEM, you're a smart guy. You can't possibly believe that Fox is the only media outlet that plays games with the facts.

Amen... I mean, seriously... it's amazing how absolutely obsessed these people are with Fox News. They just can't stand that there is 1 conservative station competing with their 10 ultra radical liberal news outlets.

Wow... putting something in context can be a powerful and dangerous thing... nice to see the moonbats in here put in their place.

Just out of curiousity, what was the deception..? Is the statistic they quoted inaccurate..? Or did they knowingly present falsified documents and present them as actual documents from the 70's..?

What deception is there in that Fox screenshot..? And why do I have the feeling you'll refuse to answer this question like you refuse to answer my other questions..? Cowards die many deaths, Nem...
