Does anyone have a link to what the story was? Cavuto is a very sarcastic guy, so I'd prefer to know the correlating context, before I take the view of someone who doesn't even have cable.

Where's the rest of the interview? Cavuto was going to discuss the issue with a dem congressman, and they don't show it?


Here's the transcript. Cavuto's point is that Nancy Pelosi promised lower gas prices when she took control, and she hasn't delivered. I don't think gas prices are Pelosi's, nor the Dems fault. However, if you're going to make a claim (assuming she did make that claim) that you'll lower them, you better be prepared to be called out on it if you don't.

Hmmm....let me see, I appologized for whom exactly? I merely explained to you what happened. Pelosi claimed lower gas prices, 1 year later Cavuto makes light of her promise. I clearly said I don't think Pelosi, nor the dems are to blame for high gas prices. See, I guess in Patter's world it's ok for people to make promises and not deliver.

Thank you for posting that. It said that Democrats have a plan. There's big difference between a plan and a promise. If Bush works with the Democrats to enact their plan, prices will come down. Let's hope he does something!
