Default USA Senate 57 Lawyers - O Accountants and Manufacturers

Ron's latest political ... setting aside that he's GOP right now he sure makes a good point IMO.

GOP Senate Hopeful Ron Johnson: Vote For Me, An Accountant : It's All Politics : NPR

YouTube - Johnson TV: "57"

Quote:
The anti-lawyer ad features Johnson at a whiteboard ticking off how many lawyers there are in the Senate — 57, just like Heinz's varieties.
He goes on to say there are zero accountants and zero manufacturers
I do agree later in the link about accountants ... not sure we need them but we do need more women, minorities and business people for sure. That good ol' boy network needs to be retooled.

I wonder why there aren't any scientists? Maybe they always go over the maximum IQ rule.

We need more tradesmen, too. People who really work hard for a living.

And all children of members of Congress should serve in the armed forces.

I think it might have to do with the fact that Senators write laws and should therefore actually understand their scope and structure.

But then again my legal expertise harkens all the way back to LA Law

I think I'm ready.

The real problem is that there are 0 people who are not beholden to big money, not the fact that they are lawyers. Another superficial campaign ploy.

Anyone in there that had a real job, wasn't a zillionare, or didn't spend their life walking over people, to get to a position of higher power? I didn't think so.

I think he's simply saying we need more people in DC that actually understand economics.
