Default U.S. issues alert for Americans in Europe

U.S. issues alert for Americans in Europe - CNN.com

The reason I post this is not exactly because the media is saying there is increased risk.

They say the volume is up .... who knows.

In 7 days the date will be 10-10-10

Next month we will have 11-11-10 though some think 11-11-11 is more likely.

In any case ... out of curiosity ...

Do you think our government is issuing the warning based on intelligence or the date?

We tell people we're from Canada when we travel so they don't hate us.

We were on the beach in Italy and there was this fat, stupid American family not so far away from us. Some Italians started making fun of them and one went over and bent his ass right in there faces making waving gestures with his hands. The stupid Americans were too fat to stand up and kind of just sat there in their fat going "ho, ho, ho, that's not very friendly." It was hilarious and pathetic all at the same time.

Do you wear extra large Canadian flag pins so theres no mistaking where your from? Europeans are sort off on to this, the larger the pin the more likely your American not Canadian.

No, just the hats with earmuffs. Once they catch on we'll move on to being nice and not stressed out about health care. Maybe throw in some yellowing smoker's teeth.

The odd part is that the Italian punk who needs to get his balls kicked up into his throat prolly went home and talked about how rude Americans are. There's certain lines one doesn't cross, making fun of a man in front of his family for instance.

Learn the language, some history, read a book, and show them a smart American. F that fake Canadian BS.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

The perception Americans are led to believe about what the world thinks about us, on a WIDE range of issues, is so different from reality.

It's odd that in the internet age we let our domestic media filter out so much information for us.
