Was that 22 second video supposed to prove something? Where's the rest of the video? Also, UN report. Oops. I'm not saying everything it claims can't be, or isn't true. I'm just saying to have lots of salt available. The UN is no friend of Israel.

Read pages 26-28 of the UN PDF file (found here). They essentially reject Israel's account on lack of evidence, which is not presented, but take the accounts of the flotilla participants at their word. This approach is outlined in their methdology.

Sorry, but we're never going to know the full truth of this event. File it under the same category as Mohammed al-Dura.

The Israeli's learned their lesson from the Goldsmith (?) Commission from the UN that investigated the invasion of Gaza several years ago. They cooperated with it fully hoping that it would be an evenhanded honest report. The report had hundreds of pages attacking the Israelis but failure to mention the precipitating event, the firing of thousands of missiles at civilians from Gaza that the Palestinian authorities didn't stop....
After that they decided to say "screw it, it's rigged so why participate?"
The report's conclusion were predetermined anyway.
