Default Internet Censorship bill Introduced in Senate

Total disgrace read at link:

Online IP protection bill sparks outrage - Computerworld

Quote:
"What they have done is create an Internet censorship bill," that will do little to curb online copyright infringement, Esquerra added.

Aaron Swartz, executive director of Demand Progress, a rights advocacy group that has launched an online campaign protesting the legislation, said the lack of due process in the bill is troublesome.

He said that the proposed legislation would allow the DOJ to bypass current statutes that require court orders to shut down Web sites. And, he noted that while the law would block U.S. users from accessing affected sites, it wold do nothing to prevent users outside the country from access to the sites.

"How does (Miami-Ohio offensive lineman Brandon) Brooks not get invited to the combine? How did Vollmer not get invited to the combine? I don't know. We can't really worry about that. We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

Must be lefties, huh? Who else would come up with such a disgraceful idea?

Or - could it be - Jospeh Leiberman, the traitor who endorsed John McCain for president and is now an Independent and Senator Susan Collins, a Republican who introduced the bill?

Could it be a bill with widespread bipartisan approval?

Could be. Could be.

What would I do instead of run out in front of 80,000 people and command 52 guys and be around guys I consider brothers and be one of the real gladiators? Why would I ever want to do anything else? It's so hard to think of anything that would match what I do: Fly to the moon? Jump out of planes? Bungee-jump off cliffs? None of that s--- matters to me. I want to play this game I love, be with my wife and son, and enjoy life." - Tom Brady

I have to applause Richard Dawkins in this case.
He always seemed to go for Christianity in his anti religious writings but at least he is consistent when regarding the Muslims.
