What's telling is that while Patters dived to lock Flex's thread and Agent 13 was infracting him, Cupofjoe was using language in another thread that would have gotten him kicked by anyone with even the tiniest bit of common sense.

Spot on ... huge double standard here ... and it's not right.
There are a few here who use that double standard to enhance their fragile machismo.

Agreed and I agree with Icy as well. There need to be rules of conduct BUT we need to know what they are AND they need to be enforced evenly and uniformly. There shouldn't be one set for the moderators and another for the rest of us so that when there is a back and forth, a poster gets an infraction while an equally egregious post by someone who happens to be a moderator is unpunished.
Either the infraction in question against Reflex should be lifted ( there have been much worse ones here that have skated through) or another one should be issued to the moderator.
Knowing how things operate, this the over/under as to the number of hours until this thread is locked is at about 2 right now.........

I concur completely, in the past year the lack of consistent standards on this board has pretty much led to anarchy... and as one who sometimes( I try hard not to, but sometimes it is just too easy) takes advantage of this, would welcome rules and equitable enforcement.. if it is descending into a bash the poster rather than discussion of political ideas.. it should just be shut down if things do not change..

This coupled with the very obvious misogyny makes this board a craphole..

Sounds fair, but for some reason it will never happen. I tweeked him and he responded then i responded. There have been many times in the last six months or so that i have gotten the same response from 13 even when i have posted nothing directly to him, earlier this week or last as a matter of fact. I just ignored him, or asked why did he call me and idiot or moron or stupid because either i didn't say anything negative about him or i wasn't referring to him in the first place. He uses his moderatorship for personal vendetta's.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely... he is useless when it comes to consistency and fair enforcement of standards..

I think its worse than that. I've seen him use his position to bait posters he doesn't agree with, when they respond he hits them with an infraction. Its never happened t me but i've seen it happen to others.

My favorite is when he thought is was ok to use the word... n...er, and then he beat the hell out of it.. and still thought he was right.. not only that he is dumber than a rock...
