Who the ***** does this kid think he is...? A Kennedy...?
This is just 100% representative of the liberal hack mentatlity that permeates this state. People honestly believe that once "cousin Pete" gets elected to the statehouse or councillor-at-large or deputy mayor or whatever, then it becomes a license to violate the law at will. It's the mentality that filters down from the Kennedy's.
A Johnson & Wales University student who claimed to be the cousin of a State House pol was arrested during the Red Sox rolling rally Tuesday and could face civil rights violations after he allegedly unleashed an obscenity-laced tirade at cops and threatened them to have them fired.
Peter Kouroujian, 18, claimed to be the cousin of Rep. Peter J. Koutoujian (D-Waltham) when he was busted at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Boyslton Street holding a bottle of Budweiser beer, police said.
As police tried to remove Kouroujian, he allegedly screeched, “Hey, you (expletive). Why don’t you do some real police work and arrest some (racial epithet) like him,” while pointing at a black Boston police officer assigned to the Harbor Unit, according to a police report.
Then Kouroujian allegedly snarled, “My cousin is a state rep and he will have all your (expletive) jobs,” while allegedly threatening to attack several officers, according to the report.

It's hard for me to criticize the rep, for something his immature, 18 year old racist cousin did. If the kid gets off because of his rep cousins maneuvers, then I'll criticize. I've come accross all sorts of people who name drop when it suits them, and it isn't because the person with the name told them to.

That kid's got a lot to learn. The guy who cleans up the manure behind the BPD's mounted unit wouldn't even be intimidated by the state Rep from Waltham.
Do not get the connection with this drunk college kid and the so called "liberal hack mentality".. not sure how the Rep can be chastised because of a drunk nephew.. this is indeed a stretch. Maybe Dennis and Callahan would have a good time with it, whine about it and make some deductions about the state of Mass. Politics.

And in other news today, another Republican was arrested for soliciting gay sex in an adult bookstore. The representative was first elected as a Democrat in 1987 but switched parties. Evidently, that wasn't the only thing he switched.
