Default Minnesota Soldiers' Benefits Fall Short, or how we thank some of the National Guard..

The longest active national guard in Iraq, has returned, but they are one day short of being eligible for more generous educational benefits... looks like it may be fixed, but embarassing nonetheless.. shameful how we treat veterans of this conflict and previous ones..

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nearly half the members of one of the longest serving U.S. military units in Iraq are not eligible for a more generous military educational benefit, with some falling one day short of eligibility.

The Army has agreed to review the status of the Minnesota National Guard's 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 34th Infantry Division, with an eye toward improving their educational benefits.

All 2,600 of the soldiers, who returned this year from Iraq, are eligible for money for school under the GI Bill. But nearly half discovered they weren't eligible for a more generous package of benefits available to other soldiers.

Look how the Colleges treat the military, they don't even want them on their property and you have US Senators calling them murderers and rapers.

Instead of crying, whailing and wasting their time trying to Censor and Destroy talk radio those rotten bastards who are in Congress should be fighting for these military people.

I think the Reid/Pelosi gang likes to see them mistreated so they can blame the Hated Bush, the Democratic Run Congress should be ashamed of themselves, they should be supporting the troops instead of trying to degrade them as killers and monsters, the Pig Murtha should be chain dragged.

The troops returning from Iraq are heros and should be giving every benefit possible, they and their families should be taken care of just as the stinking government is trying to take care of the Illegal Alien Criminal.

It seems in many instances the Democrats & George Bush think more of the Rotten Criminals that have invaded our country than they do of our Iraqi veterans.
