Yeah... right... sure.... his "roommate" was running a gay brothel from his Washington DC apartment, but he didn't know anything about it... yeah... right... sure...
Isn't that what Michael Vick originally tried to say? Poor guy, I guess you have to be a US congressman for that excuse to work for ya.

Politicians are celebrities. I assumed you knew the meaning of the word. Sorry.
Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
celebrity
One entry found for celebrity.
Main Entry: ce·leb·ri·ty
Pronunciation: s&-'le-br&-tE
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural -ties
1 : the state of being celebrated : FAME
2 : a famous or celebrated person
That's right, we were talking about people like George Clooney, Tom Brady, Dr Kevorkian, Charles Manson, Joe Hechem, George Patton, Joe Stalin, Napoleon, Anna Nicole Smith, William Hung , and another personal favorite, poor old...
Steve Bartman.
Whatever. I assumed you had a brain. Sorry.

If someone who has sex with a prostitute should not be in office, what punishment do you have in mind for someone who abuses his office (such as by embezzling), the death penalty or perhaps being drawn and quartered is more to your liking?
Wow, you really are a challenged soul. No **** in your world. How you view someone raising a child is subjective. It's opinion. Cheating on your wife, embezzling cash, taking kick backs, running a brothel in your home, molesting a minor, or soliciting sex, is wrong. They've been embarassed? oh, poor babies. That's some accountability since they still hold office. Hey, it's like talking to a rock. All I'll say is you get what you deserve. If people want to appologize for losers, and keep them as their representation, then you deserve to have a country headed to implosion. Don't complain then people.

Accountable to you is a press conference, with a microphone, some camera's, a box of kleenex, and a shirade with a sad faced wife, where some LOSER can appologize and get back to destroying the country. LOL. Gotta love Amerika. Accountable to me is the people demanding better. It's the people saying we don't want losers like you, regardless of your party, representing me, and my children. However, sheep don't want to relinquish their seat, so they defend the indefensible. I'm not demanding they be fired, as I've clearly stated that is up to the people they represent.

good one... maybe... but, the slight difference being that Frank turned his roommate in when he found out what was occuring... oh, and the fact that the the Congressional inquiry resulted in nothing against Frank...
Novak: Senate Conservatives Knew About Craig’s ‘Weird Conduct,’ ‘Didn’t Do Anything About It’
On Bloomberg Television today, right-wing pundit Robert Novak revealed that “sources in the Senate” have told him that Senate conservatives had prior knowledge about Sen. Larry Craig’s (R-ID) “problem” but intentionally kept it “in the closet”:
I have talked to several of my sources in the Senate, and this came as a surprise to me…They knew about it. They knew that he had this problem, and it was in the closet. And it was not just a homosexual relationship. It was this weird conduct. They didn’t do anything about it.

You should look up the meaning of celebrated. You still don't get it.

So, suddenly you'll defend an bad father because raising a child is subjective? Of course it's not subjective. There are good fathers and bad ones, objectively speaking. If you can't figure that out, then I sure hope you don't have kids. I'm not saying Reagan was an abusive father, but objectively speaking I think the fact that his kids had/have so many issues reflects to some degree on him. Also, in our system, the voters have the final say, and it's not your tired, outdated, and simplistic moral model. Cheating on your wife is bad, but it's not a national crime, and it's fine if the politician's future is decided by the voters rather than by people like you who are having trouble dealing with the realities of the modern world.

If you're not demanding they be fired, then we basically agree. So, what's your point?

What happened to you talking about leaving peoples' private lives alone...? Last time I checked, being a bad father wasn't illegal. I don't think anyone has kids saying "I hope I am a bad father".... but it's entirely a private matter, isn't it...?
Of course you believe, quite hypocritically, that when Barney F. runs a gay brothel from his Washington DC apartment... well, that's "making mistakes in their private lives"...

how many times are you gonna repeat something that isn't true before you believe ANYONE here is gonna buy it? do your embarrassing legacy a favor and stop trying to change history in every thread you participate in.... it's a tired old song, like a dumbass John Cougar car commercial...

You're completely missed my point, and you're still misrepresenting what happened with Barney Frank.
