Default Announcer during Colts/Bears game

Does anyone recall who the announcer was during the Colts/Bears game? As well as, how do I get in contact with him?

He was talking about Michael Vick and mentioned that it would be in his best interest to donate to HSUS and PETA to show remorse and would, I imagine, be good "PR"...

I don't have a problem with him donating money, but if Vick donates money to HSUS and PETA, he is right back in the middle of killing pitbulls... Both HSUS and PETA have encouraged shelters to kill pitbulls without giving them a chance of rescue or adoption as well as, whispering into city officials ears and telling them to ban pitbulls in their cities...

Quotes from HSUS:

“We have no ethical obligation to preserve the different breeds of livestock produced through selective breeding ...One generation and out. We have no problems with the extinction of domestic animals. They are creations of human selective breeding.”
— Animal People News

Quotes from PETA:

“Did we euthanize some animals who could have been adopted? Maybe.”
— PETA's Domestic Animal Issues & Abuse Department director Daphna Nachminovitch, in The Virginian-Pilot

“Humans have grown like a cancer. We're the biggest blight on the face of the earth.”
— Washingtonian magazine

“Probably everything we do is a publicity stunt ... we are not here to gather members, to please, to placate, to make friends. We're here to hold the radical line.”
— USA Today

“There is no hidden agenda. If anybody wonders about -- what’s this with all these reforms -- you can hear us clearly. Our goal is total animal liberation. [emphasis added]”
— “Animal Rights 2002” convention

"In the end, I think it would be lovely if we stopped this whole notion of pets altogether.”
— Newsday

“Our campaigns are always geared towards children and they always will be”
— PETA vice president Dan Matthews, on the Fox News Network

“We are complete press sluts.” (ain't that the truth )
— Ingrid Newkirk, in The New Yorker

Please Kill me with Kindness. Thank You, HSUS and PETA ( A must read)

In short, if you are going to donate Mike Vick, donate to local rescues or shelters, donating to PETA and HSUS isn't going to help your plight anymore because you will essentially STILL be killing pitbulls.

To the announcer, educate yourself on these animal rights groups before opening your mouth.

Thank You.

I believe Ron Jaworshki made that statement you are referring to about the donations to PETA. But the guys doing that game were Mike Tirico,Ron Jaworski and Tony Kornheiser.

Can this be moved elsewhere ? It's football season now and this is the "New England Patriots Fan Forum" not the "Anything Remotely Related to Football Forum".

It does have to do with football...

Michael Vick
Announcers from the Colts/Bears game making idiotic responses
My question asking about who the announcers were
My comments on what the idiotic announcers were talking about

All football talk about a football game...

Not exactly. There's a distinctly political (PETA anyone?) twist to this thread.

The local Humane Society here in NH's Lakes Region, where Mrs. psychoPat volunteers extensively,
is a No-Kill shelter.
Never euthanizes any creature.

Because of this, animals are shipped hither from far away.
The bride has collected dogs at Manchester airport that were being sent from great distances for placement in NH.
Her husband is not totally convinced of the wisdom of all of this.

In any case, within days of the first whiff of the Vick scandal, this shelter's highway sign proclaimed,
"Suspend Michael Vick!"

THAT is when i knew he was in serious trouble.

I have no problem with them euthenizing bad pit bulls because some are very, very bad. That's a little different, though, than electrocuting, hanging and drowning them.
