Default Bush has Lyme disease

Befuddlement is among the long-term symptoms.

http://news.aol.com/story/_a/bush-tr...00010000000001

The treatment was revealed only when the White House made public all the results of Bush's annual physical exam on Wednesday. It showed up in the "past medical history" section and in the summary along with other skin conditions.

Bush was treated for what his doctors described as "early, localized Lyme disease" after developing the characteristic bullseye rash.

Lyme disease is a tick-borne infection that, if left untreated, can cause arthritis and other problems. Symptoms can include lethargy, joint pain, fever, limping and loss of appetite. A bacterial disease, it can be eradicated with antibiotic treatment in the early stages, but can become more complicated to treat if not caught early.

It just cracks me up that something as minor as this results in the media wording of :

"after failing to disclose the problem for nearly a year"

The typical little way the media uses words to make him, or other Republicans, out to be a bad guy. It doesn't affect his job, there is no reason is had to be disclosed. Does he need to disclose every time he takes a dump too ?

I agree, the video of him getting a colonoscopy was enough, I don't need to know every time he has a cold.

Lyme disease is potentially very, very serious, and definitely COULD affect his job performance.

Oh bull.

"Bush was treated for what his doctors described as "early, localized Lyme disease" after developing the characteristic bullseye rash. Lyme disease is a tick-borne infection that, if left untreated, can cause arthritis and other problems."

It was found early and treated. End of story.

Remember David Gregory when Cheney shot his friend in the face, Gregory almost had a stroke because Cheney didn't call him before he called the Paramedics.

White House:
President -"Laura my darling"

Laura -"Yes Dear"

President -"I didn't have a bowel movement yesterday, do you think I should hold a press conferance"

Laura -"Have you told the Vice President"

President -"Not yet"

Laura -"Why don't you just call Dick Gregory so he can break it, he was awfully upset at the Vice President when he didn't call him about shooting that guy in the face, that should make Mr Gregory feel better"

President -"OK Laura, oh Laura?"

Laura -"Yes dear"

President -"Whatever happend to that old bag Cindy Sheehan"?

Laura -"Well the story going around the Rose Garden is that Hillary had her Cat killed"

President -"ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, I have to go to the bathroom, ha,ha"

Know a guy who got it early, treated early, but now has crohn's and cancer.. the doctors feel as though the Lyme may have been the trigger. I doubted him, but difficult to really doubt someone who has been going through what he is going through. Don't minimize this disease and some of the effects it has on some people

That's not what they're doing, what they're saying is it's really not the nation's business, which it isn't.

Fine, when Bush has Crohns, Cancer or something else then he can let us know. Until then WTF cares other than people out to nitpick everything.

Although I do agree with you, what I was really pointing out is the ludicrousness (is that a word ?) of something which, now, is basically nothing and the media making a big "failure to disclose" issue out of it. You're point that there was no need to disclose is valid as is the silliness of this piece of the media making it sound like he was holding back some critical secret by saying ""after failing to disclose the problem for nearly a year".
