Default RIP Lady Bird Johnson

When I was a kid in the Bronx in the early 1960s, littering was a normal activity. Eat a Nestle's Crunch, throw the wrapper on the ground. I didn't think twice about it. Most people didn't. Then along came Lady Bird Johnson, who led an effort to beautify America, and we were taught that littering was bad. It seems so obvious now, but back then it was not. The idea connected with everyone, regardless of politics, age, or race. We all signed on to the anti littering campaign. I think that's one of the greatest achievements of any administration.

Here's a pretty good, and interesting, obit:

Lady Bird:
I always said she was "to good" to be mixed up with that Washington crowd.

They say she used to close her eyes and put her hands over her ears when LBJ started using the "F" word.

I would love to know her "private thoughts" on Pant Suit Hillary

RIP Lady.

I personally feel it's a good thing Hillary Clinton wears pant suits. You wouldn't want to see her in a dress or skirt, would you?
