Were you a Beefaroni, Ravioli, or Spaghetti & Meatballs person?
My earlist memories were of Beefaroni, which, along with Fluffernutters, were a Saturday staple. But nothing was worse than a Beefaroni burp.
Did anybody grow thinking that normal Ravioli had meat in it because of the Chef? It wasnt until i was about 18 that i realized most normal people made it with cheese.
As far as Spaghetti & Meatballs, that became my favorite. In fact, when i was a young man, a girl knew she was special when i made her a can a Chef Boyardi Spaghetti & Meatballs. And if I was really smitten, I would only buy a good can of it ( you could tell a good one by shaking it, if you heard sauce, that meant it wasnt thick enough, if you shook it up and it was solid as a rock, you knew it was thick and globby, just right)
Yes, Chef Boyardi Spaghetti & Meatballs bought at the local Christy's and a fine bottle of Reunite Wine said to a date "You are something special!"
