Default Who here grew up on Fluffernutters?

all the talk of "fluff" in the "14 year old" thread has made me hungry for one. And I am without fluff at this time which saddens me greatly.

* Hey, if its ok for the Religion forum to vomited on consitantly whats wrong with a little food nostalgia here, right?

a Fluffernutter, Wise Potato Chips, and a Canada Dry Ginger Ale on a Saturday Morning waiting for "Here Come the Doubledeckers" to come on, on ABC.

SCHULERS POTATO CHIPS, I haven't heard of those in years, they had a small building on Sydney St in Cambridge during the late thirties, we were always hungry, that was the tail end of the depression we would all go down there and the guys loading the trucks would throw us a couple of "Gallon Tin Cans" of chips and we would go over to Fort Washington and eat them, we were like a pack of hungry wolves, I wonder if they are still in business.

Fluffanuttas are summer. We'd make some up and go on our bikes to the pond and spend all morning there in the summer. I liked to throw in a thin layer of grape jelly into my Fluffanutta. Now I gotta go get some today.

Used to like the same, the good thing was that the Concord Grape Jelly had really cool glasses, not sure if PB, Fluff and Jelly were a true Fluffanutta though, not sure it had a name.. but a good memory is PB stuck on the roof of your mouth.

How about how sometimes Fluff would rip the bread when you spread it? You had to hold the knife at a certain steep angle and go smoothly. It's great stuff. I just picked some up today.

Rasberry fluff was a short lived thing, tried it once and didn't like it.

Wow Harry, how old are you? Reminds me of my dad telling me about when he was a kid and he and his friends would chase the ice truck down the street during the summer as it made deliveries hoping to grab some ice chips to suck on.
