This past weekend, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) delivered a speech commemorating the 50th anniversary of his Protestant denomination, the United Church of Christ. In the speech, Obama argued that faith in the United States has been “hijacked” by “the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, all too eager to exploit what divides us.”
Last night on Fox’s Hannity and Colmes, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter responded to Obama’s comments by implicating him as a terrorist. Coulter remarked, “Anyone named B. Hussein Obama should not use the words ‘hijack’ and ‘religion’ in the same sentence.” Host Sean Hannity added that Obama’s remarks were part of a “black separatist agenda.”

Ann Coulter said it. She's a douchebag. She's on Hardball right now, and it's the most I've listened to her in 6 years, and guess what, now I know why. She's still a douchebag.

"The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him." Leo Tolstoy, 1897

She may be a douchebag, but I'll say this, the woman makes me laugh. Also I love the fact that she doesn't apologize for some of her ridiculous statements. Not that I agree with her all the time, I just love her no-holds barred style.

well, as a Democrat and a Evangelical Christian im in an interesting situation here. I really have no use for Ann Coulter and never did, she is pretty horrible.
But Obama is starting to get on my nerves. He says he wants to bring America together and that the Christian Right are all too eager to divide us.
But what does he do? He claims American faith has been hijacked. Really? Who keeps him from having Faith? He's doing is own divisive behavior by tearing after the Christian Right to score in Democratic Primaries.
Hillary is looking more and more like the candidate i'll end up supporting, although I could support Edwards as well.
Obama and his 2 whole years in the Senate make me nervous. There is more to being President than just charisma and Oprah endorsing you.

It sure is funny when she makes fun of Elizabeth Edwards' dead son! WHAT A GUT LAUGH! <puke>
