Why for so many righties is it never a race issue when blacks defend blacks (for instance the OJ trial), but never a race issue when whites defend whites?
That's pretty pathetic thinking. So this is an instance of whites defending whites?
Oh, please, don't stop, this is the most I've laughed all week.

Are all criminals, their threat, and extenuating situations, one and the same? Is a guy who fails to paychild support the same as a serial murderer? Is a thief the same as a pedophile? Is a computer hacker the same as a rapist? Is a drug dealer the same as tax evader? Is an illegal alien similar to arsonist?

I agree race probably has nothing to do with this, rather a desire to end this without bloodshed.
The war, AND a prescription drug benefit, education, and accross the board increases in spending. He is a grossly negligent (sp?) spender. It's no wonder his business' went to *****.

Where is the outrage of racism here Patters? Or does the label of racist only apply to white people?
Again if it needs its own thread then feel free to move it.
I think you should start a thread on it, and link a story or two.

We're an excusist, appologist society now. We coddle the minority regardless of right or wrong. We favor dsicrimination so long as it is in favor of someone we feel pitty for.

The beef regarding consitutionality is theirs, not mine. (just to be clear which I think you kinda said)
I don't see them as martyrs, and never even remotely insinuated that they have a bona fide legal case. I merely said that I'm glad they are bringing to light the matter of over taxation.

Race has as little to do with it as it does with the NH case.
Um, if you understood my point, then you'd see that I was clearly stating that race had nothing to do with the fact that we don't round up illegals. Frauders is trying to say that those people on the hill are escaping justice because they are white.
I couldn't disagree with you more on #1. The cost of them being here, both inthe short term, and especially in the long term, is ten fold the amount it would take to enforce current law.
As for #2, there is some validity to it (clearly more so than talking point #1). However, no operation would ever be an overnight affair. Furthermore, no one is advocating, or has stated, that they would move to deport 12-20 million illegals ASAP. All we have to do is seal the border, and weed them out as we find them. It truly is that easy.

It's a hate crime if they have evidence that blacks killed the person because they were Hispanic. Hate crimes of that type typically have the perpetrator yelling racist remarks. At any rate, it is the crime of murder.
And, no, racism doesn't only apply to whites, but in the case of the Browns I don't understand why law enforcement is moving so gingerly. If it was a drug dealer holed up, do you think we would wait months, and allow their friends to bring them supplies and allow them to hold press conferences? I don't think so. I don't think the Feds are saying, "Hey, these are white conservatives, let's be nice to them." I think it's the sort of unconscious double standard that permeates our society.

I didn't say that. That's why I used the example of a drug pusher holed up, but I think someone who didn't pay child support or who was a computer hacker would be a similar example. Again, giving people a reasonable amount of time to give up is good, but allowing them to get supplies and to hold press conferences is clearly a double standard.
