I sometimes wonder if Americans are more obsessed with Her Maj than we are. She has a very low impact on our lives. However, if you go anywhere near Buckingham Palace in the summer, it is packed out with Americans and Japanese.

FWIW, I do know that the Rothschild empire (from England) bankrolled Amerika... especially the Rockefeller clan.

It's a freakin' tourist destination, what do you expect? I went there once myself, but they wouldn't let me past that bloomin' iron fence so I could pay my respects. Really enjoyed the Imperial War Museum and Stonehenge, though.
