Sharpten should have apologized along time ago or at least said something when it was obvious that these kids were getting railroaded. Guess it's okay when the public bemoans the "injustice" committed against three white kids but a "disgrace" when a black person does the same. Then again, such an opinion isn't suprising coming as it does from a person who believes that a couple of black opportunists are worse than any murdering KKK member.
Had these been three black kids, not only would it have already disappeared from the news, but chances are quite good that they would have been prosecuted, convicted and jailed. Luckily, they were three white kids who could afford good lawyers so now an unethical prosecutor is no longer in office. Almost forgot...and the racists get an opportunity to moan about how things are stacked against the "white man" in America.

The story went away for quit awile,every now and then something would be said about it usually that the evidence for the case against them was evaporating.What I get angry about is where were J.Jackson or Sharpton?When it was pretty clear right from the begining that the girl was lieing as the Nifong was trying to score points.If these two civil rights leaders are for justice as they claim they should have at least taken a stand, instead they remained silent becouse it didn't serve them politicaly. As far as if the three had been black, from Duke, a role reversal it would have been just as high profile. But J.J. and Sharpton would have been all over it demanding justice.I'm actualy a little surprised J.Jackson didn't comment he's been around long enough to see a potential backlash.
