just throw the kids some rubbers and hand out planned parenthoods phone number?

come to think, thats what a whole lot of people do. And thats why our kids are the way they are and thats why there are so many abortions. Not just by kids either. Adults who were raised this way live this way. And that is very sad.

Let’s not forget their sick willingness to condemn an actual child to a home/life of poverty, neglect and abuse in the course of promoting their obsession with "punishing" women whose sexual behaviour does not meet with their approval.

Hypocrites
You describe perfectly the senseless selfishness of the “conservative”. These are people who devote their time to terrorizing women in order to force the creation of yet another unwanted child. They do this despite the current existence of thousands of unwanted children in foster care. Their obsession with denying women their basic human rights and corresponding disinterest in the status of those thousands of unwanted children clearly illustrate that “pro-lifers” claimed “concern for life” is nothing but a sham intended to mask their sexist, religious and oppressive agenda.

I don’t know which is more ironic - that people who claim to “be for children” view pregnancy and the birth of a child as proper punishment (i.e “accountability") for “slutty” women or that the same people most interested in forcing a woman to bear an unwanted pregnancy are the most vociferous opponents of welfare and other social programs intended to help those who are most hampered by unwanted pregnancies.

Punishing women? What a maroon. I guess there is nothing punishing about crushing an unborn baby skull eh?

I see how the arguement works, we have to permit the murder of a baby if we, as in Joe Taxpayer, don't plan to pay for it.

We've become an excusist, irresponsible, and unaccountable society.

so only conservatives are Pro-Life?? What a ridiculous counter argument. Basically, "well im for abortion because conservatives are against caring for children after they are born"

What an assumption and twisted logic! Im against abortion. Im also against the death penalty. Against the Iraq War. Im for National Health Insurance. Im for Gun Control. Does that make me a conservative?

We should be talking up adoption in this country. We should be fully funding Head Start. We need to better health care and education for mothers and children. And abortion is horrible.
So instead of changing the discussion into a referendum on Republi9can fiscal policy, lets get back to abortion, shall we?

basic human rights?? scaping about a baby? Have you ever talked to a woman haunted the rest of her life by her wonderful "choice"?

I dont know which is more ironic, the people that claim to "be for children" yet "like" abortion, or the people who claim they are all for women yet "like" a procedure whose majority of victims are female unborn babies.

try using some imagination, increase funding for women and children, talk up the adoption option, and fight against abortion. or is that too complicated for you to handle?
