I'm going to utilize those references. My point was that you slam the movie based on your already decided view while I am still developing my view. I need reference points and facts, not 'stay away from this or that because it's WRONG!'. That's the **** that the media has been feeding me that I don't want to listen to anymore. I want the truth behind the truth that they feed. I appreciate the links, they might help me find what I'm looking for.
Let me guess, you suggest that I should watch Fox news? Every extreme right winger that I've got a response from (I posted this on other websites too) has said those two things.
Stay away from Moore. Watch an unbiased news source like Fox News.
I see that staying away from political angles and getting to facts is going to be harder than I thought.
I'd advise you to apply massive amounts of salt (a trailers worth )to whatever it is that Moore, Limbaugh, Coulter, Odorman, Maher, etc (I call them extremists)... try to tell you. They are ultra partisans who have no shame in twisting truths, and half truths, to fit their one-sided agenda. Anyone that tells you someone is always wrong, usually has an axe to grind, and isn't credible. That's just my advice. Does it mean that these types are incapable of making a valid point? Absolutely not. ANYONE is capable of making a valid point. It's up to you to decide what, when and where that happens.
Now, as for the news, my advice is to watch, read, and listen to as many sources as possible. FOX leans right, most of the rest lean left to varying degrees. Learn which hosts to which shows have an underlying POV, and think accordingly. You must mix it up as much as possible. Ultimately, it comes down to what you think the truth is. All channels, or most of them, spin, spin, spin.... Extremists are the least trustworthy.

Then I'll ask you as well, since you're bashing the film and film-maker without addressing the facts presented:
What in F911 was untrue? Forget telling me about his slant. I saw it when I watched the film and disregarded it immediately. I don't need a lesson on 'understanding Moore'. What I am looking for is the other side of the story as far as the facts presented are concerned. I'm trying to find the truth between the lines.
If you want the other side of the story, watch Farenhype411.

Excuse me, but I would appreciate it if you didn't put words in my mouth. I haven't said a single thing about Fox News. Thank you.
Oh, and by the way, you can stop with all the "I'm just trying to learn the truth and I have no bias!" bull*****. You're not fooling anyone - your biases are quite clear.
Michael Moore is a fat pig . When he talks, writes, or produces you must apply massive grains of salt. He's a Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter type, that is an extremist, who uses twisted truths to make a partisan, or slanted point. Does his BS mean that he is incapable of making a valid point? No, not at all. It simply means that you cannot take him at his word the vast majority of the time. Facts are critical when making points, and Mr. Moore is known for fudging them.

I didn't. I put a question mark. I was asking. I wasn't saying that you said anything.

Negative. I haven't paid a lick of attention to politics in my entire life. So far I've just had less in common with the guys that are extremely right-winged, but that doesn't mean I'm left. I just don't know what the truth is, so I want to know.

Right, and they say the same about all the media outlets on the right, which is why I'm trying not to listen to either. I'm trying to find what is true.

From what I've seen no one in the media or government is adverse to that. Right or left, they both spin and spin hard.

But didn't you just tell me not to ever listen to "Moore, Limbaugh, Coulter, Odorman, Maher".

Yep, that's my current mission. To make up my own mind.

It sounds like there are extremists everywhere. Someone suggested http://www.csmonitor.com/ as an unbiased source of simple news stories.
