Real World

It's amazing how good life can be when you don't run a welfare state. Imagine the idea of keeping money in the places it belongs, which is the pockets of the people who earned it, as opposed stealing it from anyone who has it, in order to hand it over to someone else (who didn't earn it). What a crazy idea eh? Too bad we don't do that here in Trash/Tax/Sucks/Crap-achussetts.

Taxes are low there because New Hampshire's got this cool little highway robbery things going with respect to the I-95 tolls. Tony Soprano doesn't bleed his victims as hard as NH bleeds anyone from MA who'd like to recreate for a couple of days.

Yeah, you're right. Instead of spending my extra money on boating or fishing or camping I should really just give it all to some religious wack-job from Korea. Then I wouldn't care about the toll rates in New Hampshire.

OMFG, you can't be serious. You have to pay $1 each way on I-95. You are whining this much over one freakin' dollar..?!? This could be the most hilarious whine I have seen in quite a while. A poor widdle liberal who loves to raise everyone else's taxes can't pay a $1 toll.

Typical liberal who thinks everything should just be given to him and he shouldn't have to pay a single dime himself. I wish Massachusetts tolls were half as reasonable as New Hampshire's.

So typical of the Star Wars loser, you just can't help but pick a fight at every opportunity. There's more than one toll bedwetter, and pray tell, why is it that NH residents only pay 1/2 of what everyone else pays?

Sorry, but I just calls 'em as I sees 'em. I have never seen someone behave like that big of a whiny little crybaby over a $1 toll. Sorry, missy, but I haven't seen this much ******ing over something so inconsequential from anyone that wasn't a 2nd grade little girl.
There is one toll in the state of NH on I-95. There are multiple tolls on the Everett and Spaulding Turnpikes. There is one toll on I-93 near Concord.
Because they give a resident discount, duh.

Unbelieveable... you have to pay all of a $1 toll in NH to get to Maine and you act like you are being raped by none other than Tony Soprano himself. The poor widdle liberal doesn't like a taste of his own medicine, now does he...?

Being an NH resident, I have to agree with QuiGon. If you don't like the tolls, don't come here. They are seriously not that bad.

And Real World, don't worry. The way people are moving to our state from MA, I don't doubt that public policy will slowly shift. I and many of my fellow residents will fight it for as long as possible, but it seem inevitable sometimes.

NH rules.

Isn't it a $1 or something? How can anyone from MassBlows complain about a $1 toll? Heck, even if it's $2 how could someone complain. Have you gone over the Tobin? Driven on the Pike?

BTW, they are going up on those very soon too!
