This might not be that big a deal, but to me, I think it's dumb to exclude FOX, regardless of how biased you may think they are. FOX is the #1 media outlet on cable, and ignoring that crowd, and more importantly, that station, is a bad move in my eyes. It's not just because of the the viewers and such, it's because they could be building anamosity should the Dems win in 2008. Not bright if you ask me.

Agreed the dems are being WUSSIES about not cooperating with FOX. The network is nothing more than a right wing, white house, spin machine disguised as a news channel. However, they DO have a ton of loyal watchers. Why not reach out? Why not keep your enemies closer than your friends, WAKE UP democrats, your are being idiots about this, and quite childish.
are the Olympics snobbish for not including WWE-style "wrestling" at their games?... almost no one who watches Faux News is gonna vote Dem anyhow.. why acknowledge it as a legitimate and unbiased news source?... because it's not, and never has been...
it's about time Faux is held accountable for its unrivalled history as an embarrassment to the tenets of mass media...

Holy, I completely agree. There was a poll out that stated either 67%, or 77% of registered republicans were not happy with the candidates they'd seen, and wanted more choices. That's roughly 3/4 of registered repubs. wouldn't it be wise to at least do one debate in front of that crowd, and hope to maybe sway what is a seriously disenchanted GOP base? Really is senseless to me.

They could put them on the Playboy Channel, Discovery HD, HBO and anywhere else.. bottom line is that they appeal to a particular segment of the population and those people will watch them whatever channel they are on. As far as Fox goes, what difference does it make in the big scale of things.. sounds like they are making a stand, if they go on there it is just another turkey shoot by Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly and the rest of the wing scribes and talking heads. No matter how you cut it now, it is a loose loose situation for the Dems, if they change they will be accused of flip flopping and if they do not will be called chicken. This is something that should have been thought out earlier.
