Default Wolfowitz threatens senior World Bank staff.

this guy needs to just be made to "go away" ... go ahead, Paul... pull the roof down on the whole corrupt enterprise... no love lost there... just be sure you fade away into irrelevancy, you comb-spiddling turd blossom...

Wolfowitz threatens senior World Bank staff.

“If they ***** with me or Shaha, I have enough on them to ***** them too.” — World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz’s comments according to a new special bank panel report, which concluded that Wolfowitz’s actions have “had a dramatic negative effect on the reputation and credibility” of the bank

That POS is just mad that they called him out on his corruption, so hes trying to claim them to be corrupt. How is it that all these neo-cons scumbags get top positions in the Bush administration and yet he isn't held accountable for any of their mistakes?

Did he surround himself with crooks to make himself look less crooked??

Wolfowitz is clearly a POS, but you aren't somehow implying that the World Bank is, or has always been, a beacon of ethics and honesty are you? Power always corrupts. The institution, or it's cause matters little in that regard. Simply put, the majority of clowns like he, when put in a position to profit, will. I for one would hope that this azzwipe would bring down as many of the losers as possible on his way out the door.

Forget the "history"of the Bank.

This asswipe was the foremost proponent of the Neocon invasion of Iraq and has managed to "Johnson" his rep at the World Bank.

Terminate...."with extreme prejudice"

Oh, absolutely. I'm by no means a fan of his, nor a supporter. I was perplexed at his being given such a position at the WB in the fisrt place. I was only saying that if he decides to bring down some corrupt people on his way out, I wouldn't get in his way. My sentiment is that those who fear such exposure will quietly see to it that something is worked out behind the scenes. I just think of Hastert & Co. running to the defense of William Jefferson when his office was raided by the feds.

The elite will always protect their own.....no "standup guys" here.

The money flows to the corrupt.

I notice you're pretty plain-spoken when you're attacking the left or defending the right, but wordy when attacking the right or defending the left. Is it like picking up local dialects?

Who's on first? Did I say something in creole (sp)? What am I missing here?

For the record, I speak 2 Italian dialects. Avellinese, and Napolitano.

Well RW's impersonation of an "independent" has always been quite poor. Got to give him a cookie for continuing to try though
