I do not want to believe their intent is to malign the military ro the police, if they did this there would probably be some serious backlash from sponsors.. but, if the looters had tan or brown faces they would be all over the news. The news reflects societal expectations. Remember the LA Riots, MLK riots or NOLA all the faces were dark... somehow a looter in a uniform is not as newsworthy.

Every article has a picture if there was a photographer present to get one. Me thinks they got wind of the arrest after-the-fact and have nothing to take a picture of. But thanks for making it a racial case where none existed.

That's such utter BS. You just said it's not racial, but "if the looters had tan or brown faces they would be all over the news". People are comical in this country. Reminds me of the ShakeDown Twins *****ing about racism regarding the kids who got shot up trying to run over a cop in NY last year, then it came out that half the cops involved were monorities and black. It always has to be racist, it just has to be.

The only story out about it is the AP story. No local take, which probably has to do with the fact that the people in question are still in custody, and have not been released yet. It's kinda hard to get film of people who are behind bars, inside a jail.
