There will be those who will argue the validity of this poll, however with a plus or minus of 3-5 points, this is just a little lower than whale crap.

He shares the cellar with Carter now, and he still has some time to go further down.

Bush voters, you have a funny way of making this country proud.

Considering he got about 50% of the vote in 2004, a lot of people only have themselves to blame for re-electing him. As I've said before, I voted (L) in 2004.

This is what happens when you betray your conservative base. The liberals are going to hate him no matter what he does. And then his actions make it pretty damn easy for conservatives like me to turn our backs on him too.

That pretty much sums it up for me too . . . the reasons I didn't vote for him in 2004 nor would I say I like him now.

This is why I can't stand party hacks. Rejoice at ones bad news and don't give the rest of the story.

Here is the Presidents average poll #'s. With the 28% that Mikey was beating his chest over beingthe exception.

Here is Congress's poll #'s with an average disapproval of over 50%.

As I said in another thread, people are sick of both parties.

Congress is different, unfortunately. Regardless of generic polls, most Congressmen get re-elected because areas don't want their Congressmen to be a Freshman; they want the perks their veteran Congressman brings home every year. That's why Congress is unpopular but rarely changes.

But, didn't they say that "america has spoken"? Also, that poll includes the Senate, which is about the same thing.

Yup, it's all about the pork.

Most of us didn't vote "FOR" Bush we voted "AGAINST" the two a$s holes the democrats nominated and it looks like we will have to do it again.

Jimmy Sissy Carter now has company.

I would have voted for Anna Nicole Smith before I would have voted for Gore/Kerry.
