Default yes, my friends, we have an idiot ...

Running our country...

posted below are the musings today of our leader...George W. Bush (sigh)

_"Politics comes and goes, but your principles don't. And everybody wants to be loved _ not everybody. ... You never heard anybody say, `I want to be despised, I'm running for office.'"

_"The best thing about my family is my wife. She is a great first lady. I know that sounds not very objective, but that's how I feel. And she's also patient. Putting up with me requires a lot of patience."

_"There are jobs Americans aren't doing. ... If you've got a chicken factory, a chicken-plucking factory, or whatever you call them, you know what I'm talking about."

_"There are some similarities, of course" between Iraq and Vietnam. "Death is terrible."

_"I've been in politics long enough to know that polls just go poof at times."

As he has before, Bush told the story about how his first presidential decision was to pick a rug for the Oval Office, a task he quickly cast to his wife. He told her to make sure the rug reflected optimism "because you can't make decisions unless you're optimistic that the decisions you make will lead to a better tomorrow."

Later, when he talked about his hope for succeeding in Iraq, Bush said, "Remember the rug?"

While watching him say these things today....just kinda musing to a handpicked crowd who would cheer his every word. I looked toward the future, and the next president.

I hope we will never elect another failed human being to serve as our president. NOTHING 'bushie' has ever done in his entire life has ever turned out to be successful. We elected a true manchurian, a slab of neoconservative clay. We have lost so much as a nation, we are losing so many hearts and minds with the decisions of this man's administration.

a famous man once said:

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again. "

we will not.

What does it say about the 'Liberal media bias' when this constant mangling of the English language never shows up on the evening news? The only place where Bushisms show up nowadays is on the web. Some farmer in Montana or Nebraska who only watches TV probably thinks Bush is the best speaker since Lincoln.

Surely you're not saying that the evening news should be using airtime to make fun of the President of the United States. Are you?

Making fun of the President is John Stewart's job. However, how can you say Bush is being treated in an un-biased manner when the press always choses to quote around his fumblings?
