You can disagree all you want, however in your mission in Russia you get "select" information, in my circle of people in the NE US, we do not really care about any of this info. Most of the working and retired people I know loathe this information and do not give a crap about Gibson, Baldwin or any Hollywood actor or singer. Most of the people I know are too busy working and taking care of their families, to be distracted by overpaid, excessive actors and actresses.
Somewhere and someday you have to look at where you are, what you do and what you have access to and realize that your view is somewhat limited and your views may be skewed.

Hey, guy, how do you know what I have access to?? How do you know from where I can get information?? How do you know about anything in my life??
The fact is you don't know *****. You don't know the first thing about what I can get and where I can get it from. You are pissing in the wind and all over yourself and everybody here with your wild-azz speculation as to what I have access to.
For one thing, I do not live in Russia. Not that it would matter much as far as information availability is concerned.
I live in the European Union, in a country that at one time was a part of the Soviet, Lithuania. I get CNN international (complete with Jon Stewart's Daily Show), beamed out of London, exactly what is sent all over Europe and most of the world. I get BBC World, the exact same feed that is sent to the U.S. I get Bloomberg. I get MSNBC Morning. I have TOTAL broadband internet access to any sites in the world, EXACTLY as you or anyone in the States gets.
Don't tell me or anyone else what I can get, or that my views are "limited" because on that score you are full of crap, plain and simple. If you have an opinion, fine, state it. Then let me state mine. You and I happen to disagree on some views. So what? That's life.
I make my observations based upon what I see as right and what I see as wrong, and that is based on the entire history of humankind that I know is verifiably accurate.
Just a clue here: It's not the movie stars that is the important thing here; it's all about how the dominant media culture in the U.S. manipulates people by how they report things, what they allow, and what they won't allow. As Marshall McCluhan once said: "The medium IS the message." And too many people in America are getting their messages from a certain clique who have a world view that is inaccurate, very wrong.
If you are looking for "skew", look at what the dmc is saying. If you want to truth, look into your heart of hearts to your original mind conscience. We all live forever with what we have done in our lives on earth.

You really do not get it, you are so defensive of yourself you cannot understand what anyone says except what you are told to believe.. what you post is all BS.. it is not as bad as you make it out to be.. but in your CNN world it is.. this is my last post.. I feel bad for you and your limited views... said before you lead a life like the movie, "Truman".. nothing is real in it, but in our world it is much different.
I look into my heart of hearts every day, and nothing has changed the way I think. Do not need your preaching, there is a forum for that.

OK, guy. You've got a handle on everything. You know the score. Cool.
I never claimed to know everything, but I know that the mainline news organs have severe blind spots. And for that we all suffer.
